This passive two-acre neighborhood park is a great example of open green space. The mature trees and younger trees surround the outer areas of the park in the Emmaline, Lancey, Emma and Ella Street block. This park has a long and rich history. A by-law was passed to purchase the park on December 22, 1969. Mr. Harrison approved the sale to the town for $2.00. A condition at the time- and one that is still in effect today- allows for passive, youth non-program recreation. For example, there are picnics, games of frisbee, catch, lawn bowling and other games played. The park has two benches and a flower bed around the park sign
