Victoria Park

Located in the center of town, this park is passive and non-recreational. It does however host a number of town, residential and service club functions and ceremonies. The main feature is the cenotaph along with six benches and mature and young trees. The parks attachment to Victoria Hall and central location allows for a higher usage rate. For example, resting shoppers, visitors to the Victoria Playhouse and locals who like to visit its lovely features. The band shell added in 2000 by the Petrolia Rotary Club continues to enhance the park in a non-invasive way with concerts and events. The park has an irrigation system and five Bishops Crook light standards. A new patio was installed in 2013 to the front of Victoria Hall. It includes the town history plaque mounted on stone, four benches, four light posts, and a flowerbed.
