This open green space and recreational park is located at the end of Gem Street through to Garfield Ave. Its multi-use space includes a play structures, a basketball court and pavilion. The hill to the west is ideal for tobogganing in the winter and playing on during the summer season. The open space provides access to all forms of family and individual activities such as walking, kite flying, frisbee, and other family fun sports. In the spring of 2008, a number of new trees were planted to ensure the name of the park was maintained. A number of different organizations use the park for community functions, and the Petrolia Rotary club takes a leadership role in this park through sponsoring and adopting it. This park continues to see usage rise as the surrounding residential tax base expands. Part of this park to the North is used for the subdivision storm water drainage.
